Rosalea featured in the Defuse Stroke campaign video as the ‘patient’ getting her blood pressure checked. Rosalea suffered a stroke in early 2016. Since then her life has changed completely. Stroke can have a huge impact on a persons life.
Stroke is a leading cause of disability in Australia and there is over 440,000 stroke survivors living in Australia. Many stroke survivors require ongoing support to manage daily activities. By 2055 this number is estimated to reach 1,000,000 people.
