A stroke of genius for baby Olive

Michael-and-Olive-ScottBeing on a push bike for 11 days straight doesn’t make it onto too many people’s bucket lists. But according to Longford resident Michael Scott, nothing beats the feeling of being out on the bike raising funds and awareness in honour of his daughter Olive’s battle with stroke.

In 2015, Michael, alongside friend Thayer Lukjanov, set out from his hometown of Sale in Victoria to ride to Byron Bay in New South Wales. Michael said it was the thought of his daughter Olive’s fighting spirit that kept him going through the gruelling 1,600 kilometre bike ride.
