This November the Stroke Foundation is calling on all Australians to get moving and Stride4stroke.
What is Stride4stroke?
Stride4stroke is the Stroke Foundation’s annual campaign to raise much needed funds and awareness to prevent, treat and beat stroke.
Almost half of Australian adults and 80 percent of children aren’t doing enough physical activity, putting us at unnecessary risk of stroke.
Taking part in Stride4stroke is a great way to keep active while raising money for an important cause.
Who can take part in Stride4stroke?
Anyone can take part no matter what your fitness level is. You can tackle the stairs in rehab, roll your wheel chair around the block, gather your friends or colleagues for a walk in the park or run a marathon. The main thing is to partner with us to prevent, treat and beat stroke by getting moving and raising funds.
Why is Stride4stroke a fundraising event?
There are more than 470,000 stroke survivors living in our community and every dollar raised will help support survivors on their journey to live the best possible life after stroke.
With your help, the Stroke Foundation provides support to stroke patients and their families throughout the journey to recovery.
How do I get involved?
Stride4stroke opens for entries on 1 July 2017. Sign up as an individual or a team at Stride4stroke.org.au
