Stroke Foundation has ten membership places on its new Childhood Stroke Lived Experience Advisory Group. Members will be adult survivors of childhood stroke, parents, carers and family members.
Stroke Foundation is a national charity that works to prevent stroke, save lives and enhance recovery. The Childhood Stroke Lived Experience Advisory Group:
- Provides a lived experience voice and represents the needs of childhood survivors of stroke, families, and carers.
- Works to build awareness of childhood stroke in the community.
- Informs, guides and promotes Stroke Foundation childhood stroke activities and projects, including the Paediatric Acute Code Stroke (PACS) Project.
The Advisory Group aims to reflect the diversity of our survivors of stroke, ensuring representation of gender, culture, age, and location.
We anticipate that the Advisory Group will have four meetings a year during business hours. Contribution fees will be paid to the Advisory Group members for their input and time.
Applications can be made online or by mail. If you would like help with the form, or would like to apply in a different way, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
