National Action Plan for Heart and Stroke
The Australian Government is working with the Stroke Foundation and the Heart Foundation to develop a National Action Plan for Heart and Stroke (the Action Plan). The Action Plan will identify and prioritise achievable actions that the Australian Government can implement.
The Action Plan will drive improvements in:
- Prevention and early detection
- Diagnosis and treatment
- Support and Care
An Action Plan is vital to reduce the impact of stroke and heart disease on the individual, the community and the health care system, and achieve better outcomes for Australians affected by heart disease or stroke and their families.
An online survey is available if you would like to provide input into the development of the Action Plan.
The survey will be open until Friday 14th December.
If you have any difficulty completing the survey online, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Stroke Foundation on 03 9670 1000.
