Research Advisory Committee Members - Expressions of Interest sought from researchers

Stroke Foundation has multiple vacancies on its Research Advisory Committee.

We invite expressions of interest from researchers with an established track record in stroke research and/or related fields. We are specifically interested in including members in the following areas, but people with interests in other areas are also welcome to apply:

  • Indigenous health
  • Clinical psychology
  • Medical or nursing specialist in stroke care across acute, sub-acute or transitional care settings


About the Research Advisory Committee

The Research Advisory Committee provides advice on:

  • Strategy underpinning our Research Program.
  • Stroke Foundation’s Research Grant funding.
  • Requests for Stroke Foundation participation or endorsement of external research programs and projects, including partnership grants.
  • Other activities arising from the implementation of the program.

Expertise within the Research Advisory Committee is multi-disciplinary because of the diverse impact of stroke, covering areas of practice, continuum of care, methodologies, and the voice of lived experience. Membership positions are honorary appointments.
