The Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) is proud to be a long-standing partner of the Stroke Foundation. We’re united in our shared purpose to achieve better health outcomes for all Australians, and the APA is pleased to support the Foundation’s work to raise awareness of the impact of stroke, and of the important role of physiotherapy in the recovery of the many impacted Australians.

Following my critical triple bypass surgery in 2019, which served as a significant wake-up call at the age of 47, I resolved to actively engage in promoting heart health throughout Australia. ​

The Stroke Foundation aligns with Silverline Medical's philosophy of monitoring blood pressure at home to detect potential warning signs requiring medical attention. ​

I’m grateful for the opportunity to work together on initiatives that spruik this message out in pharmacy. ​

Because my warning signs were detected early, I’m able to assist other Australians like me on their health journey and celebrate second chances!​

Precision Fundraising’s partnership with the Stroke Foundation is enduring. As a Supporting Partner of the Foundation for the past decade, we have witnessed the on-going impact this organisation has as the nation’s leading voice to prevent, treat and beat stroke. Having personally had to use the F.A.S.T. acronym to identify a stroke, we know how effective the message can be in saving lives. We hope that Promo Stuff can contribute to furthering that education as well as assisting stroke survivors and their carers on their journey to recovery.
