Stroke is one of Australia’s leading causes of disability, with one stroke occurring every 19 minutes.

Almost 40% of first-time strokes affect people in the working age group. Even more distressing around 600 Australian children experience stroke each year.

However, 80% of strokes are preventable.

We all have the power to improve the situation by learning F.A.S.T. signs of stroke, raising awareness and advocating to prevent, treat and beat stroke together.
