Summary
Researchers from Deakin University are looking for people who have had a stroke, or work with people who have had a stroke, to help create new resources targeting social connection after stroke, including in the workplace, as well as related topics – such as emotional adjustment and communication about stroke. The research team are interested in a range of experiences, opinions and ideas.
Eligibility
- Survivors of stroke, family members or carers, and people who work with someone who has had a stroke (e.g. health professional, work colleague)
- Aged 18 years or older
- Living in Australia.
Activity
You can choose how you participate:
- You can provide input and feedback by email only;
- You can choose to attend 1 to 3 Zoom meetings (one hour each) to provide detailed feedback on resources; or
- You can apply to be part of the team who will meet as a group to discuss and identify the factors leading to social isolation after stroke, and co-design the resources (7 to 10 Zoom meetings, 1 hour each).
