Share your healthcare experience

Who it’s for: Survivors of stroke, family members or carers
What it involves: Survey
Location: Online (Australia)

Summary

People have very different experiences when seeking healthcare. For some, their symptoms are quickly understood. For others, it can be harder to explain what they’re experiencing, or to feel taken seriously.

Researchers at Macquarie University want to hear from adults living with a chronic physical health condition about how their concerns have been understood and responded to. By exploring experiences of communication and understanding in healthcare, this study aims to inform future research and ways to improve healthcare experiences.
