Talking Heads Study – for young adults rebuilding life after stroke
Who it’s for: Survivors of stroke, family members or carers
What it involves: Test a method
Location: Online (Australia)
Summary
Researchers at La Trobe University have co-designed an online information package called “Talking Heads” specifically for younger survivors of stroke.
It provides information and tips on ‘hidden challenges’ after stroke, including:
- fatigue,
- brain fog,
- feeling overwhelmed,
- grief and loss,
- and changes to relationships.
The package includes short videos, online information sessions, podcasts and tip sheets.
They now want to test the information package. They want to know if it is helpful, easy to understand, and easy to use. They will use the information to improve it.
