Summary
Researchers from La Trobe University want to hear from people with aphasia about how they use technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in everyday life.
You might use AI a lot or you might not know much about AI.
Your experiences can help shape better, easier-to-use technology for people with aphasia.
Eligibility
- People with aphasia from a stroke
- Aged 18 years or older
- Internet access
- Sufficient English, hearing and vision to participate.
Activity
- A short conversation to confirm suitability to participate (this can be by phone, video call or email).
- A 60–90 minute interview on a video conference platform (with breaks and aphasia-friendly supports).
- The interview will explore:
- Current use of AI-enabled enabled tools
- Barriers and facilitators to technology use
- Desired future AI supports
- Lived experiences with communication technology.
