This University of Newcastle study is exploring what types of treatments people prefer for managing fatigue and/or low mood conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, low motivation) after stroke. The team are conducting interviews to ask about people’s experiences with stroke recovery and care, and treatment preferences which may relate to medications, psychological therapies, lifestyle changes, or alternative remedies.
Eligibility

- Health professionals practicing in Australia, who have experience in treating post-stroke fatigue or low mood (depression, anxiety, apathy) using any type of therapy (e.g., medication, complementary therapies, or non-drug strategies).
Activity
- An interview about your experiences that may take approximately 30–45 minutes.
- The interview can be conducted either online, or in-person if you are in Sydney or Newcastle.
- In-person interviews will be held in private rooms at accessible public venues such as:
- In Newcastle: Newcastle City Library (Laman Street), Wallsend Library (Bunn Street), or the Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI, Kookaburra Circuit, New Lambton Heights).
- In Sydney: venues may include City of Sydney Library (Haymarket), Marrickville Library, or Green Square Library.
